About Us

If you live in Canada, a winter coat is not a luxury. It's a necessity. Yet, not having a proper winter coat is a cold reality in which thousands of people experience worldwide.

At Warm Social Co., we recognize that this challenge is one that needs to be confronted - not dismissed.

Our mission is to provide everyone with warm clothes, no matter what their financial situation may be. That's why we donate one equal article of outerwear for every single purchase you make through us.

One for you, one for someone in need.

We're based in Calgary, Alberta and we're now coming up on our second winter season. This winter, we're poised to 10X our contribution compared to last season.

Q: Where can I have my coat delivered?

A: We've partnered with Canada Post and UPS to give you a variety of shipping options that's good for getting your coat anywhere in North America.

Q: Where are the coats donated to?

A: Organizations interested in receiving our coats must meet the criteria of being a Registered Charity or a Non-Profit Organization. Our products are dispersed through local community outreach programs, such as Family Resource Centres, women's shelters, homeless shelters, and local charity organizations. We proudly serve Canada and the United States, follow us on Instagram and TikTok @warm.coats to see our progress!

Founder

Jordan's background is originally in social work, providing support to vulnerable communities in Canada.

This is where he encountered a very a real problem: countless people are not afforded the necessity of owning quality, warm, reliable winterwear.

With experience in social programming, he noticed another compounding problem. Almost every organization that serves people in need struggles with having enough resources and funding to fully address the social issues they're faced with. By crowdsourcing clothing, we have an opportunity to do two things:

  1. Provide people with an item they will absolutely love.
  2. Solve the problem of winter coatlessness in our vulnerable communities.

Together, we're warm.
